Parent and Toddler Group

In a quiet, relaxed environment with soft colours and natural materials children play freely with simple wooden toys, handmade rag dolls, play cloths and nature's toys like conkers, shells and pinecones. There is a seasonal craft or activity, e.g drawing with pure beeswax crayons, then tidying-up time is followed by a wholesome organic snack and the session ends with ring time, singing seasonal songs.
Parents and children from newborn to three and a half years are welcome. Sessions are held during term time on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, 1-3pm in the Woodfields kindergarten. Please telephone school before leaving home to book your place. Sessions costs £4 per family.

‘Hedgesparrows’
– an outdoor nature group for parents and toddlers.

A short walk leads to a wooded glade, where we arrange our base camp. Gathered together outside in the natural environment children are free to explore their surroundings. There is a seasonal craft using naturally found objects and materials followed by (organic) snack time and then we finish with ringtime; singing songs inspired by the seasons.
Please bring appropriate clothing for all weather experiences for you and your baby or toddler as well as your own cup, plate and blanket.
Parents and children from newborn to three and a half years are welcome. Sessions are held on Tuesdays mornings during term time, 10-12. Meet on Tooting Common Triangle by the schools back gate. Sessions costs £4 per family.
