URGENT INFORMATION – 8 February 2010

We have been informed by Wandsworth Council that PJ’s Wine Bar has re-applied for planning permission to open until midnight 7 days a week.

Everyone who has at any time been disturbed by these premises can object to this application and we urge you to do so without delay. All objections must be received by the Council by 19th February 2010.

Currently PJ’s can only open until 11.30pm. If this permission is granted they will be able to open until midnight and will then apply in a few months to open even later. PJ’s have suggested that permission is granted initially for six months – there is no good reason for this, as we all know from our experience between April and November last year that later opening means disturbance.

IF YOU DON’T OBJECT, THE COUNCIL WILL ASSUME THAT THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS AND WILL GIVE PERMISSION.

YOU MUST OBJECT NOW TO ENCOURAGE THE COUNCIL TO REJECT THE APPLICATION.

You must write again even if you have previously objected, as this is a new application.

EITHER:

Write directly to the council planning department, quoting the application number 2010/0022 and include your name and address.

Tel 020 8871 8416 should you wish to discuss the application with Amy Swan.

If you wish you may bring your letter to the estate office and we will send it by fax.

OR:

If you have access to a computer then you can object to the application on line. Go to www.wandsworth.gov.uk then “Planning Service” then “Find a planning application” then “Search the applications database” and enter the Application Number - 2010/0022. Click on “View related documents” and the “Comment on application”.
