Spam
We seem to have come under attack from spammers recently. In the last few days I've banned five users who existed purely to place spam discussions into the forum. No doubt there will be more.
I'll be patrolling regularly to keep the site as clean as possible. I'll also get in touch with Ning support to see if they have any suggestions of how to combat this.

Update: I've configured the site so that new members need to be approved by me. This is a bit of a pain, but hopefully it won't discourage too many people from signing up. If anyone looks like a potential spammer (no photo, nonsense answers to the questions) I'll send them a message and will only approve them if I get a sensible reply.
There are still half a dozen or so new-ish users who I suspect are spambots. But I won't ban them unless they prove themselves to be spammers.
Feel free to let me know if you see anything that looks like spam.
